Judge Brian M. Cogan

district judge serving on the
United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. He was nominated by
President George W. Bush
on January 25, 2006, to a seat vacated by
Frederic Block
and confirmed by the
United States Senate
on May 4, 2006. Cogan received his commission on June 7, 2006.
Cogan was graduated from

in 1975 and received his

in 1979.
